People serving time in jail without being convicted is a crime in itself. $5,000 is the maximum that the RFBF can post and supports our communities most vulnerable populations; poor people, people with a mental health crisis, and people with substance use disorders. The criminalization of poverty and health issues has created a revolving door in and out of the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
